Can Castell is one of the most impressive and yet relaxing addresses among top fincas. The property is located near Sineu on a hill with a fantastic view over the plains to Arta. A small private road leads up to a gate, which gives access to the driveway leading to the house. Past the tennis court and an olive grove, one can park in front of the house. From here one gets a good idea of the generosity and spaciousness of the complex.

The entrance to the house is elevated, in front of the portal are sculptures from the owner’s art collection and a historic wooden bench, all lit up beautifully, it feels like being in a centuries old farm. Even in the details of small surfaces, everything is designed in traditional Mallorcan style.

Once inside the house one realizes its real dimensions, there is lots of room, decorated with modern paintings and smaller sculptures. One immediately feels at home, nothing is randomly put together – the house is top quality perfectly decorated. The day may start with breakfast on one of the terraces, then maybe to the beach, the nearest one is 15 min away, at Playa de Muro.

The upper floor has three bedrooms, the master bedroom with panoramic bath, on the ground floor there are two bedrooms.

All other details are shown on the website. Sineu offers, apart from supermarkets and bakers for breakfast supplies, restaurants which will also cater a dinner with friends, and the train to Palma. So one can even eat and drink there without having to drive oneself.

Certainly worth repeating!
